Hi Folks
Its time we got together!
As it is International Peace Day around the time we were due for another get together, Rick and I thought it might be good to combine our next gathering with a Peace Picnic. These picnics are now a Servas national event, thanks to our peace secretary Gwen Gregg.

So put it in your diary now!
We have booked Hut 2 at the Hobart City Council Waterworks reserve near Hobart for Sunday 22 September at 12 noon.

The site has a covered hut and a gas BBQ. It is close to the children’s playground. It would be a great opportunity to invite friends and family along to share the day and celebrate together our commitment to World peace. It is probably easier if everyone brings their own picnic or BBQ.
I have attached a flier which I hope some of you may be able to print off and put up on your local community notice board to spread the Servas message.

I hope that the meeting after this one that we may be able to meet somewhere in the middle of Tassie so we can have contact with our more northern members. Any suggestions of venues would be very much appreciated. Perhaps some hosts from outside Hobart might think about staying with a Hobart host so they could come for the picnic.
Hope to see you and your friends soon.

In peace
